Benny only had one more question. "What about my friends? I've known 'em all since I was a little kid... real little. I can't hang out with them anymore?" His mom looked down at him with a reassuring smile. "You can if you want to, until you really start to show - if you do at all. But I thought you didn't want to today?"
"Well, yeah, but I don't wanna lose my friends... I don't wanna make new friends! And wouldn't I have to be friends with girls?" He shuddered at the thought. "Girls can't be friends with boys." In his mind, he already was one, as much as the thought horrified him.
"No, of course not, Benny." His dad chimed in. "Your mother and I were best friends before we got married. In fact, most of our little group paired off." Mom nodded helpfully.
Did that mean...? No! Thoughts of being married to one of his friends, each of them, passed through his head lightning-quick. Before he knew it, his eyes had teared up. "I don't wanna marry one of my friends! What if they all wanna share me?" He screamed, running upstairs to his room. Jenny was sitting there on his bed with her pants off, and he stared with envy at her crotch; he wouldn't even care if it was that small anymore.
"Benny, I have a question about my thingy. Can you help me?" She smiled sweetly, and his anger partially dissipated. He couldn't be mad at his little sister. "Yeah... what's your question?"
