Katie looked around her room. I changed my video games, she thought. I need to change the rest of it. She looked around the room for targets to make things closer to what she had when she was a he. All that the note had done that wasn't yet reversed was made her a girl. Anything else was just an addition that went along with being Katie, but which nobody had asked for, so it could be reversed.
"I wish I had my Transformers calendar back again." The calendar reappeared. Katie caught a change in something else but when she looked around, couldn't place exactly what it was. No, wait... the pink pen was gone. A girl with a more guy-oriented calendar would be less feminine, and would have fewer pink things.
"Okay, I wish I had my old porn stash." Again, a little bit of the room seemed to change. The porn sash, of course, was invisible.
Katie sat down at her computer and began checking hidden folders. The first item in it was just a scan of an old Playboy disguised as a paper on the American Revolution, but was enough to convince her that her porn stash had returned. One had to love modern technology--in the past, boys might have had to hide their porn stash under floorboards. Was Katiue a lesbian now?
"Okay, now I wish I had the clothes I had as Jon except in versions that fit me." The room didn't visibly change much. In fact, Katie wasn't sure anything visible had changed at all. She checked her closet and drawers and indeed had all of Jon's clothes back, at least everything except for underwear. Some of her girls' clothes had turned into Jon's clothes, but some of her girls' clothes were still around--the wish hadn't wished for only Jon's clothes and nothing else.
Jon went through the room. Pink sneakers turned gray (sneakers weren't covered under "clothes"). A Twilight DVD became Star Wars. The computer screen's background became Star Wars too--though Katie supposed she could have just searched for a Star Wars picture.
After going through the contents of her room, Katie realized she had some things left to do. The wish had turned her into a girl. It didn't force anything else except turning into a girl. Which left the possibility of changing her body to be more masculine, or even changing her name back to Jon, if the wish about reality changing didn't prevent that, And of getting rid of earrings, cosmetics, and the female clothes she still had in addition to her Jon-like clothes. But that could be dangerous--given Katie's male interests, clothes, and porn stash, she was probably at the limit of what would pass for normal already. If she had to be a girl, she didn't want to be seen as too weird. Yet the opportunity to become more Jon-like was real. What should she do?
