"I wish Mikey didn't have breasts," Jon said. It was the least he could do to help his brother. But after he said it, nothing happened. "Hey. How come it didn't work?" Jon asked, looking closely at the rock, wondering if this was really his rock. It never occurred to him that Mikey may have already wished for breasts, because as far as Jon knew, Mikey already had them, since he didn't hear the wish.
Seeing his brother's confusion, Mikey decided to take advantage of it. "Wishes? Are you saying this rock grants wishes?" he asked, feigning ignorance.
Jon looked at him, then shook his head. "No, of course not. I guess it's not my stone. My mistake," he said, before leaving Mikey's room. He went back to his own room and checked for the wishing stone again. It had to be somewhere. Maybe if he looked more carefully he'd be able to find it.
Mikey closed and locked his door, to make sure there were no more interruptions, and then said "I wish ..."
