Earl was in lying position. He realized quickly that he was lying in his bed, but not on his regular side. Then he realized that his body felt different. First, it felt that he had extra padding under his rump, then it felt that something soft and silky was rubbing his skin. When he moved his arm from above his head to explore, it rubbed against a very soft protrusion on his chest.
Earl quickly sat up, having gotten his night vision, and looked down. He had his wife's body, from neck to heels. He reached up to check his hair and realized that his head, or at least his hair was the same as it had been been.
"What have I done," he quietly said, and realized that he must have retained his vocal cords, because his voice was still male.
He looked down; his rush to sit up had set his entire chest to jiggling. He reached up to the T-shirt that he was wearing and felt his bare breasts through it.
His mind was in ecstasy, but his body was not reacting sexually at all like he was used to, and therefore the experience had been a disappointment so far. In fact, it was downright uncomfortable
He thought for a minute, then quickly jumped out of bed, noticing his shorter stature.
"I've got to get that rock," he thought. "But where is Linda?"
