Jon considered calling Karyn, but decided to keep experimenting with the stone. He could continue to figure out it's rules and how far he could bend them, then he could wish for some really interesting things to happen. For now, he was happy using it to mess with his siblings.
He crept downstairs, and peeked into the living room, pushing his new hair out of his eyes first. He saw Zoe and Mikey, umoved since he was last in the room. Zoe was watching some teen drama with Spiderman's girlfriend on the TV, and Mikey was playing Doom on his switch. Jon disapproved of his kid brother playing a violent game like that, but it did give him an idea.
He hid back behind the door, pulling the stone out of his pocket. He cupped it with both hands, and whispered into it, making sure no one could hear him.
"I wish, for the next thirty seconds, my brother and sister will swap their attentions."
There was a sudden warmth in his hands, as he closed his eyes. By the time he opened them, it was gone. Once again, he peeked into the living room.
Mikey was still playing with the console, when his eyes just happened to catch the TV. He had managed to zone it out into the background, but somehow it caught his attention. He started watching with rapt interest, and didn't notice when Zoe leaned over and nabbed the device out of his hands.
He watched starstruck, but as quickly has his motivation to watch it had come, it vanished. He looked over at his sister.
"HEY! Give that back!" He yelled. Zoe looked at the console, suddenly bored of the game she was playing. She chucked it back at him, hitting him in the face.
"Ow!" He exclaimed, tears welling in his eyes. Zoe got off the couch.
"Don't be such a girl." She told the pipsqueak, as she headed to the kitchen to grab a snack. She barged past Jon, as he fumbled with the stone, another prank in his head thanks to his sister.
"I wish that for the next 5 minutes, Mikey was a girl."
