Jon grumbled as she headed out of the locker room to join up with the girl's gym class Zoe had willed her into. Jon tried not to look up as she could hear comments and felt the stares of the guys from the other classes watch her. Zoe had also made Jon a very rather fetching girl-next-door.
Jon went over to Karyn as the gym teacher laid out the bases and equipment for softball. Almost immediately Jon felt her eyes itch and water. She was still allergic to her best friend.
"Hey" Jon managed to get out before she was overwhelmed with a sneeze.
Karyn turned and looked at the girl next to her, "Do I know you?"
Jon sighed and was feeling defeated, but went on to explain anyways. "Karyn, I'm Jon. Zoe did...you know..."
"Oh my God, Jon," Karyn softly exclaimed with a look of shock and awe. "That was you in the guys room? Zoe did make you really pretty."
"Not helping, Karyn" Jon grumbled in a soft alto tone. "Watch out, crap, here comes Zoe."
Zoe left the locker room and painfully stood out dressed in pink in a sea white and blue gym clothes. She wasn't even half way across the gym when she was stopped by Mrs. Johnson.
"Zoe, where are you gym clothes?" Mrs. Johnson stated ad she crossed her arms.
"Uh, I'm wearing them." Zoe sarcastically shot back.
"Zoe the school has a strict policy about altering the gym uniform." the athletic redhead teacher replied. "You will have to put on a proper uniform or face detention."
Jon and Karyn couldn't hear what was being said from were they stood but they could tell Zoe was pissed. Zoe knew full well she couldn't possibly conform. Everything she wore turned pink. It made her want to puke. So she figured if she was going to get a detention, she might as well earn it.
"Fuck you" Zoe yelled loud enough for all to hear, and flipped off the teacher before storming off to the locker room again.
"That's gonna cost me," Jon gulped watching the girl with all the power over her stomp off.
"Jennifer!" Jon heard her new name get called, "You're up first to bat."
Jon trudged over to the plate and picked up the bat. Jon considered herself to be pretty good having played baseball all the way up to high school. That athletic confidence left quickly. She couldn't seem to remember how to even hold the bat, and when she swung at the ball, Jon wasn't even close. Jon wondered, id Zoe remove my athletic talent? She'd find out later since she had swim team practice after school.
