Jon and Karyn heard Zoe's scream in the next room and shivered in anticipation. Zoe had just figured out that Jon had wished for anything she wore to turn pink. There was no way Zoe would let that slide without retaliation. With Zoe being able to anything to her brother, he had every right to be worried.
Moments passed and Karyn kept a watchful eye on Jon from his bed. Nothing seemed to happen.
"Maybe she liked the pink?" Jon joked with a weak smile. "No sence waiting here for Zoe to do something. Want some breakfast?"
Jon stood up and offered Karyn a hand to help her up from his bed. Upon Karyn grabbing is hand he started feeling a burning sensation in his hand rapidly becoming hotter and hotter.
"Ow!" Jon cried and pulled his hand away letting his friend fall back onto the bed. Jon looked at his hand to see that it was red and irritated. The burning sensations slowly faded back into nothing.
"Are you ok?" Karyn asked as she got up from the bed on her own and stood next to Jon.
"I think so. Can I try something real quick?" Jon queried with hesitation.
Karyn nodded, and braced herself as she knew what Jon was going to do. Jon reached out with a finger and slightly touched his friend. His finger started to burn on contact.
"Argh!" Jon yelped and pulled his finger away, "Did you feel that?"
"No," Karyn shook her head concerned, "Not a thing"
"I think I know what she did" Jon said and grabbed the stone and put it in his pocket. Jon burst out of his room and looked for Zoe in hers. She was already gone. Jon continued downstairs with best friend Karyn a few steps behind, careful not to accidentally touch Jon.
Down stairs the goth sister, Zoe, sat the dinning table angrily munching on cereal. She blonde and dressed head to toe in pink. She looked cute, but by the expression on her face was pissed.
"What did you do to me?" Jon demanded taking a stand at the other side of the table.
"Oh, hey thanks for saying your sorry about turning me into a freaking Barbie doll!" Zoe harshly shot back.
"Zoe!" Jon yelled back.
Zoe leaned back and smirked, "I made you allergic to your friend."
