"Well," said Kevin, "I wanted to know if the wishes were reversible. Maybe we could try it?"
"Sure," said Jenny.
"Okay," replied Kevin. "I wish my shirt is green." A moment later he said "Hey, get off!"
"What?" said Jenny. "There's nothing... Wait a minute, your whole shirt is wet."
"Yeah," said Kevin. "I thought someone had spilled something on me but that's impossible..." He sniffed at the shirt. "Yellow stuff... It looks bad but it's just some kind of soda. Mountain Dew, I think, but I don't get it."
"You wished for your shirt to be green, and instead you... Wait a minute. Your shirt was blue. It's still blue because that's its normal color, but it's also green because something yellow was spilled on it. I guess that's our answer. You can't reverse a wish. You can just make two wishes be true at the same time."
"I guess. I wish my shirt is dry."
A shirt materialized out of the air and fell gently to the floor.
"It's your shirt," said Jenny. "And it's dry."
"No," said Kevin, "I wish the same shirt that got wet is dry, and clean!"
This time, nothing happened, at all.
"Useless rock," said Kevin, handing it back to Jenny. Then he began to take off his shirt.
"Hey, it's not that useless. I got you to take off your shirt."
Kevin hmphed and turned away from Jenny while he put his dry shirt on.
"Which reminds me," said Jenny. "Would you mind if I made a little change?"
"Er, a little change?"
"Yes, a little change. I want to... well, how would you feel about being bisexual?"
