After probably five minutes, I figured Karyn was done, because I could smell the scented candles through the door. It smelled like roses.
The door opened, and Karyn waved me through. "Don't just stand there, come on back!" I walked through the door. I felt a strange tingle as I walked through the magic doorway, but aside from the fact that Karyn's robe seemed to have changed to jeans and a shirt, nothing struck me as odd. I didn't look down at myself, just walked right past Karyn and down to the kitchen. She followed, but I didn't really pay her any attention.
The trip down the stairs told me something was wrong, and I looked down at myself. In shock, I turned to Karyn. "Look at what happened to me!" I lifted my shirt to show her.
