Upstairs, Dave was closer monitoring the party. He was pleased to see Danlen's progress, and couldn't wait to see how he turned out. Now that his name was shifting along with the rest of him, it was only a matter of time before he became another gorgeous Playmate party host. He did have concerns about the boy's father, though. Craig seemed aloof while gambling, and clearly wasn't having a good time. But Dave had an idea.
“We'd be losing out on a bit of revenue...but we'd fill another slot unexpectedly. I'm sure the bosses would be okay with that,” he said to himself. He radioed down to Jaime to put his plan into action.
“Excuse me, sir?” Craig looked up to see the redhead dressed in green who was working the bar standing in front of him. “Are you Craig Peters?”
“Er, yes, I am. Can I help you?” He responded. He stepped away from the gambling table where he wasn't having much luck.
“Well, a few of us couldn't help but notice you were looking a bit down. We know that you got your son the UPE pass, which we thought was such a nice gesture. And, well, the organizer wanted us to offer you a free upgrade to UPE status. Are you interested?”
Craig's eyes lit up a bit. With the UPE pass, he could spend the entire night with Daniel! It'd be father son bonding time, just like he wanted. “Of course! Thank you so much!”
“That's great!” Jaime responded. Now, you do have to sign the contract, but once you do, we can get you started on the UPE experience and you'll be able to catch up with your son.”
Dave smiled as he watched Craig eagerly sign without reading it, yet again. This would make eight new Playmates in a single night! As Craig finished signing and started to get led to the Bunny Hut, Dave looked over at his console to confirm that he was now in the list of transformees.
“Hmm. I feel like purple would look great on him. And it looks like we've got an opening for May 2010...”
