"INVADED BRAZIL IN SECRET to pull that off"

So? Nations spy on each other CONTINUALLY, even close allies. It's nothing to do with war.

And so what if it's Jon's stone? If it were his atom bomb, or his plutonium, I would expect the government to take it from him--still more so a wish making rock with which he almost ends existence! He's already demonstrated he's immensely irresponsible with it, "something interesting"...

And as for the US invading countries south of it's border...

...they could quit being such irresponsible nitwits.

The first part of that history is one long string of Spanish speaking nations taking out loans they can't pay back, so the Marines would go in and run the place until they got tired of it or they collected enough money to pay the loan back, in some proportion of either...

...or the second part of that history is idiots who actually think democracy is something besides settling the mere details how government will do what it can legitimately do so those idiots elected a communist who threatened the world's public peace with more success for that ideology of theft and murder. It isn't actually possible to be a governing communist/socialist without being a thief or ultimately a murderer. Allende, the Kims, Ceaucescu, Castro, Stalin, Lenin, Guzman--they're all the same rot. Overthrowing such whenever it can be done is just penicillin for the world body politic.
