Jon had an idea. "I wish that my parents would set up a bet in which they would swap thier genitals for one year, with Dad having Mom's uterus and vagina, and Mom having Dad's penis. They would then do each other's 'jobs.' Mom would go to work and deal with all of the work related stress that Dad did. Dad would be a stay at home 'mom,' which would involve Mom getting him pregnant, carrying the baby to term, giving birth and caring for an infant on top of his other duties. After one year, they would sit down and decide who has the easier life and whether they want to keep their new genitals. Finally, I could end this wish whenever I want." The stone flashed.
"All right, Mr. Big Tough Man," said Mom. "I have a bet for you, to see who really does have it easier."
"Oh, this will be good," said Dad.
"We're going to swap genitals and jobs," said Mom. "I'll have your penis and you'll have my vagina. I'll go do your job and you'll stay here and be a stay at home mom for the kids."
"That doesn't sound so hard," said Dad. "What's the genitals swap for?"
"That's the best part," said Mom. "You are going to let me get you pregnant. You will carry the baby to term, give birth and care for an infant on top of your other duties as 'mom.'"
"What?" said Dad.
"Hey," said Mom. "I had to do all that with four children and you still insist that I have it easier. Or are you just scared to do something every mother does?"
"You're on," said Dad. "Let's set a time limit, then, all right? Say, one year?"
"Sure," said Mom. "Nine months of pregnancy and three months of dealing with a newborn should make you come around."
"Winner gets to keep the easier job?" said Dad.
"Sure," said Mom. "Why not? As long as they also get to keep the genitals of their choice. I think I'd enjoy seeing you barefoot and pregnant."
