The next day Karyn went out to the usual spot where she met Jon to go to school. He was usually there before her, but he wasn't there, so Karyn walked to school without him. She saw him at school and he was hanging out with Sarah McMillan! And they seemed to be friends! Why would Jon be freinds wtih a bitch like Sarah? she thought. She vowed to find out.
She managed to get Jon alone later that day. "Why are you hanging out with a bitch like Sarah?" she asked. "You know that a girl like her isn't worth your time." Sarah broke down in tears and ran off.
"Jeeze, Karyn," said Jon, offended. "Why do you always have to put down girls like Sarah just because they aren't as pretty or popular as you are? She's my best friend and all you do is put her down for having such a large chest, long hair and not liking sports. If anyone here is he bitch, its you, Karyn. I just hope that not all tomboys are like you." Jon stalked off, muttering to himself as he looked for Sarah.
Karyn was stunned. What had happened with her wish? Jon and Sarah friends? Jon calling Karyn a bitch? Karyn took out her stone and made a wish to find out what had happened. She was suprised by the answer. By making tomboys like Karyn the standard of beauty, it had put feminine girls in the position that tomboys had previously occupied. It had also made Karyn the school bitch, acting in much the same way that Sarah had occupied before; putting others down, treating them like dirt because she was the pretty, popular one.
Sarah was now Jon's best friend, like Karyn had been in the old reality. And in this new reality, Sarah was nice and caring, the way Karyn had been previously. What have I done? thought Karyn. Now that she was Sarah and Sarah was her, Karyn would have to find a way to reverse this and get her best friend back.
