Jon grabbed his purse and his schoolbag, then headed downstairs with Karyn. Once they entered the kitchen, Jon's eyes landed on his little brother Mikey (funny how he never seemed to be around lately ... they probably just had bad timing) sitting at the table, eating his breakfast cereal. Today, he was dressed in a pink-colored poofy dress - a prince dress, as it was called in this reality. Jon chuckled, seeing him dressed that way. Yes, he had memories of this reality, so he had memories of Mikey usually wearing clothing like this, and all of it being completely normal, but those memories felt like something from a dream, or a movie. He knew this reality wasn't real and that Mikey wearing something like that in the real world would be incredibly embarrassing.

"What's so funny?" Jon's dad asked. He was also sitting at the table, finishing his breakfast. He was wearing the same thing he had been wearing minutes earlier when Jon was down here eating breakfast with him - a fuzzy lavender bathrobe. And as with Mikey, Jon found it all humorously bizarre, despite knowing that earlier that morning, he didn't find anything out of the ordinary about it.

"Nothing, I was just thinking about something funny," Jon said.

"Do want something to eat, Karyn?" Roger asked. "I can make you something, if you'd like."

"No thanks, Mr. Gibson. My dad already made me something at home," Karyn answered. "Come on, Jon. Let's get to school," she told Jon, then both of them were out the door.
