Jon opened the door, seeing that the person outside was a delivery woman. She was dressed like a typical one - brown shirt, brown baggy shorts. Her hair was a little long and shaggy, which Jon always thought was a little weird-looking for women. In his opinion, their hairstyles should be as short as possible. Let guys be the ones with the longer hair. In her hands was a medium-sized box.
"I'll need your signature," the woman said.
Jon signed for the package, grabbed it from the woman, then said a polite "good-bye", before closing the door.
"Who was it?" Karyn asked, now downstairs too.
"It's just a package," he said. He looked at the label, seeing that it was make-up products for his dad. Then he set the box on the kitchen table and went back upstairs with Karyn, who hoped there wouldn't be any more interruptions.
