"God, Jon," came the voice of Zoe. "If you're gonna make out with your girlfriend, close the door."
Jon broke the kiss and looked over at his sister, standing in the hallway, a scowl on her face. She was in the same outfit Jon saw her in that morning - a black T-shirt and black baggy pants.
He sighed, then got up and closed the door himself. Then he returned to the bed. "Now, where were we?" he asked, before resuming his make out session with Karyn.
"I don't care what the coach says," Sarah McMillan said. "That Karyn Black is not going to be allowed on the team. She's a loser. And we don't need a loser on our football team."
Melissa Smith, dressed in her usual T-shirt and jeans combo, looked over at Amber Levine and Jessica Davis, both wearing tank tops (that showed off their muscles well) and track pants. They wanted to do what was best for the team, but it was clear that Sarah's own feelings were clouding her judgment. She hated Karyn for looking lustily at her boy Biff. She had it out for the "loser" and there was nothing they could do to change that. Once Sarah made her mind up about something, there was very little that anyone could do to sway her from it.
"Okay, fine, Sarah," Melissa said, reluctantly.
Natasha took a deep breath, then headed up the walkway to the Brant house. She was gonna do it. She was gonna ask Tim to go to the prom with her.
She knocked on the door, and then it opened. A man, presumably Tim's father, stood there, wearing a summer dress, earrings, a necklace, bracelets, and, of course, make-up. A typical father, really. "Yes, honey?" he asked.
"Is, uh, Tim home?" she asked, nervously.
