"Hey Black!" A voice called out and suddenly Karyn's locker was slammed shut in front of her. Karyn surprised, turned to face whoever it was.
She groaned. It was Sarah. She was wearing a black tank top which showed off her muscles.
"What's this I hear about you making the squad?" Sarah asked menacingly drawing closer to Karyn.
Karyn gulped and backed as far away as possible against the locker. "Oh hey Sarah." Karyn replied. Sarah looked at her.
"Miss Felton saw me in gym class and said that I had a good arm. She said that I could come to a practice session if I wanted."
Sarah grew angry and looked as if she was going to hit Karyn.
"A problem girls?" Someone said distracting Sarah. It was principal Casey.
"Oh no ma'am." Sarah said releasing her hold on Karyn.
Principal Casey nodded satisfied. "Good. Now why don't you girls run along? It's a lovely day and I'm sure that you don't want to be stuck inside." With that he wandered off.
Sarah took one last look at Karyn. "This isn't over." She said angrily. "Me and the girls will make sure that you don't make the squad.
Sarah made as if to hit Karyn and she flinched. Sarah smiled and then walked away leaving Karyn to wonder what she had got herself in to.
