"Ah Miss Black. There you are." A voice called out. Karyn turned towards it. It was Miss Felton.
"Coach Felton?" Karyn asked confused.
"I was wondering if I could have a quick word with you?"
"Ah, well I was just heading to my next class." Karyn replied.
"Oh I'm sure you can spare a few minutes." Coach replied. "Have you thought anymore about joining the football team? We could use someone like you on the squad."
Karyn paused for a moment. She had thought about it and besides if things didn't turn out well she could always use the rock.
"Sure!" Karyn said excitedly. "I'd love to."
Coach Felton smiled. "That's great! Next practice is tomorrow after school. Come to my office beforehand and we can sort you out a uniform."
"Thank you ma'am." Karyn replied. She said goodbye and then entered her class. She couldn't wait to tell Jon.
