Karyn was about to throw the football back to Biff, but paused when she saw Tiffany and Jon across the room. It was still quite a sight to get used to, seeing girls with male haircuts and boys with female ones. She had to keep reminding herself whenever she saw someone far away sporting long hair that it was actually a guy she was seeing. In Tiffany's case, she had a short spiky haircut. Karyn's hair normally would have been short too in this reality, but thanks to that careless wish she made back in the normal reality, she now had Sarah McMillan's original long blond hair, not to mention her larger breasts. She wasn't sure, but she might have been the only girl in school to have such long hair.
"Uh, like, what are you doing? Throw the ball," Biff whined.
Karyn kept watching as Tiffany dropped her football to the floor and approached Jon, who backed up, looking scared.
"That bitch," Karyn muttered, then sprinted towards them.
"Hey, where are you going?" Biff asked, then shrugged, before cocking a hip and splaying the fingers of one of his hands, to see if there had been any damage to his painted nails.
"Hey, I thought we told you to buzz off," Karyn said, standing between Tiffany and Jon.
"Get out of my way, asshole," Tiffany said.
"No! Jon is my boyfriend. My boyfriend."
Their argument was loud enough to cause the rest of the class to stop what they were doing and turn in their direction.
"Is there gonna be a fight?" a girl, Maggie, asked.
"I think so," said Rachel, another girl.
"Cool," Maggie said, smiling.
Keith, a boy with long black hair tied in a ponytail, rolled his eyes. Why were girls always interested in violence?
Karyn stood her ground, making Tiffany even more furious. "You're gonna get out of my way or ..." Tiffany said.
"Or what?" Karyn asked. Jon was still scared, trembling behind Karyn, but he was so glad that his girlfriend was there to protect him. After all, things could be a lot worse for him right now.
And that's when the fists started flying.
