He was glad he was sitting down, because Jon felt weak in the knees. For years Karyn and he had been the best of friends, and even though they had matured differently, Karyn becoming the strong womanly person she was and Jon getting more and more boyish all the time, they had never had problems. Thick as thieves, his father had teased one evening as he helped Jon with his hair.
How could he have been so dumb, Jon chided, to not notice that Karyn was falling for him? How could he not notice, for that matter, that he was falling for Karyn?! The way her short red hair always made it seem like she just woke up. The way her sports jerseys hung over her breasts. The way her jeans always seemed to get frayed around her sneakers. Jon giggled as he sat alone at the table. Karyn was his woman!
What really made him feel nervous, though, was what happened after their encounter. Suddenly she'd stood up and ran for the washroom, leaving him feeling vulnerable and alone. Had he said the wrong thing? Then, before Karyn got to the woman's room, she had paused to appraise that slut Biff. Sure, the cheerleader had been shaking his chest for all to see, but Karyn had definitely stopped and appreciated the view.
Jon felt crushed. Just when he found true love, his love was dashed away. Maybe Karyn had feelings for him, but Jon wasn't the right type of boy for her. She sure liked to look at Biff, and Jon was sure he'd seen her checking out the other slutty girls when they arrived at school together.
Feeling tears well up, Jon decided that if he was going to have Karyn, he was going to fight for her. He wasn't going to let any of those skanks take her away from him. He lept up and dashed out of the cafeteria. He wouldn't even wait for Karyn to return. As he ran as fast as his mary-janes would carry him out of the school and toward home, Jon resolved that if he had to look like a slut in order to win his woman's heart, it was an easy price to pay.
Besides, everyone knew that the way to a woman's heart wasn't through her stomach, as the old expression said, but through her pussy.
