Jon waited on the corner where every day he met Karyn on the way to school. He had gotten there early that day; he'd heard enough ribbing over the years from his friend on his tardiness.

"Just like a boy to keep a woman waiting," Karyn would complain, rolling her eyes, "Did your curling iron take too long to warm up?"

Jon sighed. Girls were just so aggravating sometimes. If only they weren't so cute, he'd swear off them forever.

Giggling, he knew that would never happen. He wasn't girl-crazy like most of the boys at school, but he certainly was flirty. Something about how a girl looked down his top at his newly sprouted chest-hair made him shiver. In a good way. He couldn't help but flirt with almost every girl, or woman, that he came across. It was probably what had inspired him to make his wish the day before; the one that had caused all the girls to dress in boy's clothes and be boy-crazy.

He was fondly remembering the strange events of the day before when Karyn came bounding down the sidewalk. Her long blond hair pulled into a rough pony-tail and huge breasts barely contained in the hockey jersey she had on, she looked just so scrumptious. Even the torn knees in her baggy jeans looked adorable. Jon wiggled his painted nails at the girl in greeting.

"Hey Jon," Karyn replied, looking him up and down. He appreciated the inspection greatly, but tried not to show it (although the bulge in the front of his denim skirt may have moved a bit), "looking good!"

Jon giggled again and playfully swatted her arm. He couldn't help gushing a bit. He loved compliments, especially from girls like Karyn. Something about Karyn always made him feel good; even though he was physically larger than her, he always felt that she was so big and strong, that she'd take care of him if he needed. It made him feel warm and safe.

As they walked, Jon couldn't help but inquire about her wish.

"But why won't you tell me now?" he whined.

"You made me wait a day, so I'm making you wait. Don't worry cutie-pie," the name made Jon blush, "I'll tell you tomorrow, then you can make a wish."

Typical, Jon thought, a woman control freak. Well, if that was the kind of game Karyn wanted to play, he would have to play along. He knew how stubborn women can get when they decide something; he'd watched his father cave to his mother's demands over and over through the years. That was probably why there'd never been a male president, or why those pole-dancing classes were so popular with men. They caved too often.

So he walked to school with Karyn, heels on his mary-janes clicking on the pavement, wracking his brain to figure what had changed. He knew, as he adjusted his purse strap which had been sliding down his shoulder, the if he concentrated hard enough he'd be able to get it.
