Samantha turned to a section entitled "General Information."

Physiology: it began. *The standard shemale form is externally female except for the presence of a male penis between her legs. This penis is fully functional, allowing the shemale to have sex as a male and, potentially, impregnate a woman. Unbeknownst to most of the non-shemale population, shemales do possess a uterus and ovaries. These are functional as well, allowing a shemale to become pregnant and carry a fetus. As shemales do not possess a vagina, any fetus they carry to term has to be born via C-section.

All shemales also possess very large knockers. These knockers, or "breasts" as others call them, tend to be above average when compared to females, and cover a range of sizes. Shemales possess an altered musculature to help support the added weight of their knockers. DD-cup breasts are considered "flat" by many shemales, while H-cup breasts are average. K and M cups are considered largest that a shemale will achieve, though legends abound of even larger knockers, ones so enjoyably massive that even shemales couldn't support them, rendering their owners bedridden. Psychologically, shemales love having knockers and feel that bigger is always better.

Personality: Despite stereotypes to the contrary, there is no "Shemale" personality. Shemales are neither complete whores nor frigid ice queens. Shemales run the gamut of personalities. They can as easily be the most feminine girly-girl as the most masculine tomboy. Shemales are in every clique, from Jockettes to Cheerleaders to Goth Girls.

Terminology: Shemales use female pronouns, such as "she" and "her," to describe themselves. In relationships, a shemale is referred to a person's "femmefriend," regardless of whether the other person is male, female or shemale.

Relationships: Most shemales prefer their own gender, though some prefer males or females. Their emotional relationships with their own gender are different than those with other genders. When in a relationship with a male or female, shemales are extremely faithful, restricting their romantic and sexual relationships to a single partner. In contrast, relationships between shemales are very open and communal. It is commonplace for a shemale to have five or six femmefriends. These communal relationships frequently extend to group marriages, in which every shemale is married to all of the other shemales.

Part of their reputaion for "sluttiness" comes from their communal relationships. Many individuals within monogomous relationships interperet their communal love as promiscuity. This is erroneous, as shemales within these relationships are as faithful to their partners as any individual in a monogomous relationship. They simply believe that this faithfullness can extend to multiple individuals and relationships can fluidly gain or lose people without negatively impacting the members of that relationship. Secondly is their casual enjoyment of nudity. While they can, and do, enjoy wearing clothing, nudity is as natural a state for them as going clothed. They tend to conform to social standards regarding nudity in public, clothing almost always comes off in private. This has resulted in the occasional embaressing (at least for the non-shemale) incident in which a nude shemale encounters another individual when she thinks she is alone. There is debate as to whether or not all of these incidents are as "accidental" as the shemale claims they are.*
