The next morning at school, Jon finally got to see how his wish was granted. And it wasn't at all like he expected. Apparently, his wish did more than just change Sarah McMillan.
He watched as Gladys Brewer (the fattest girl in school) walked down the hallway, wearing the type of sexy designer clothes that Sarah would normally wear. They hugged her fat body tight and even though Jon knew that it should have turned him off, he realized that it didn't. In fact, he found her to be incredibly sexy. As did all the other guys in the hall. Then he saw Meredith Sussman, a nerd who was probably one of the ugliest girls in school, with her buck teeth and severe acne problem. But now, Jon discovered that she wasn't ugly in the slightest. She was so hot, especially wearing that tube top on her rail-thin body. All of her imperfections made her hot. (He hadn't figured it out yet, but Jon felt about these girls, and others like them, because he didn't make an exception for himself in his wish ... his wish affected all guys, and Jon was a guy.)
Sarah and her friend Melissa Smith turned a corner and suddenly Jon felt disgusted. They didn't have any imperfections whatsoever. They were so ugly. If only they tried to gain some weight or something. Jon paused for a moment. Didn't he just think the previous day that Sarah and her friends were some of the hottest girls in school?
