Karyn sighed as the pain disappeared. It was the only way. And side effects were on her. It would be her fault. She couldn’t tell Jon he would feel horrible and there was no time. They had bigger issues.
Flushing the toilet and standing up she indulged an errant thought. Lifting her shirt and opening her pants she examined the one part of her outfit she hadn’t seen yet and scoffed. Underneath it all she wore a lacy black thong and a matching lacy black push-up bra. Of course, that’s what the stone chose for her.
Though oddly enough she felt a strange unfamiliar warmth when she thought about what Jon would think of her current outfit. What would he think of her underwear?
Karyn blinked and threw open the bathroom door. She didn’t have time for this. She wished to get rid of the feelings to go away so she could focus on what was important. That didn’t mean she could sit around thinking about all of her other feelings.
Swinging open the door to Jon’s room she was pleased to see Jon was already dressed. He had a black sweatshirt and a pair of cargo pants. In fact, something didn’t seem quite right about the cargo pants, specifically their fitment. Karyn had never seen men’s cargo pants cut like that before. Actually, they gave her a bit of deja vu, which was strange because she didn’t think she had ever seen him wear them.
She took one quick look at his face and quickly looked away, ignoring the butterflies in her stomach. She spotted one more thing that was weird. High up on his wall were two flags. One was the LGBTQ+ rainbow flag and next to it was the Bisexual flag. Karyn smiled, she wasn't really into the whole social activism thing. Jon certainly was though, in fact, the only other student that so proudly displayed their sexuality was Nina, the lesbian.
Huh, Jon texted Karyn about Nina last night. That was a bit strange. Why would he do that, seeing as they were friends? Whatever, they needed to go.
“Come on, let's go!”
Karyn watched as Jon grabbed his backpack. Noticing a rainbow pin on the back of it.
