Unbeknownst to Jon, Sarah wasn't the only girl to become as hairy as a man. All girls were now as hairy as men and men found thier hariness sexy. As a side effect, women did not shave their armpits like before, and they didn't shave their pubic hair either. Girls were proud of their hariness, in the same way that they were proud of the size of their breasts. Not all girls were equally hairy, and Sarah, being Sarah, made fun of girls that were less hairy and buxom than she was.
Meanwhile:
Karyn was coming over to Jon's house. Her personality hadn't changed a whole lot because of the wish. Her body hair was finer than most other girls, so it didn't stand out as much as other girls, like Sarah McMillan's did. She didn't make a big deal about her small chest and smoother skin (though she was occasionally jealous, she would never admit to it), and she appreciated guys like Jon who didn't fixate on big boobs or lots of body hair.
When she got to Jon's house, she met Jon's mother, who told her that Jon was upstairs, as usual. Jon's mother had more body hair than was normal than most women had becasue of the wish and his sister Zoe inherited their mother's hairy nature. Karyn figured that this proximity to hairy female relatives might help explain why he didn't make a big deal about super hairy girls like Sarah. Karyn went upstairs to find Jon
