"Come in," said Jonnie. "I know it's you..."
Jen opened the door and entered.
"Wow, you're beautiful," said Jonnie. "And hey, you know, it's a good thing we didn't both wait in our rooms, since we were going to do the same thing."
Jen walked up to Jonnie and hugged her, then tried to kiss her. She paused. "I don't know, I feel sort of funny doing this."
"Yeah," replied Jonnie. "Part of me says I'm kissing a pretty girl and part of me thinks it's like kissing Zoe."
"We're still the same in a lot of ways," added Jen. "The clothes are different but our rooms are still very much alike. And I see we're both still interested in girls."
Jonnie nodded. "I wonder if we have girlfriends? Maybe we'll find out soon. Do you have a diary or something? Guys don't usually have diaries but since you're girlier maybe you do have one."
"I'm not sure," said Jen. "Let me check... in fact, why don't we both check?"
They both went to Jen's room and searched, but there was no sign of a diary. They did find a picture of Jen with Stacy, a girl that Jon had known... interesting, but there was no way to tell if they were just friends from the picture. And of course some pictures with Karyn.
"And we've got to be sharing the stone," said Jen. "I think I'm supposed to have it some of the time... we probably take turns every day or so and it must be my turn."
"Do you like playing the new Halo?" asked Jonnie.
Jen was about to say "Sure," but had to think about it a moment. Then she said "Yes... I guess that I can do that and still be considered girly. We have an hour or so before Karyn comes over so we can do homework... This is so strange, suddenly having a sister..."
"Just like it's strange for me," said Jonnie. "Anyway..."
