"So, what's so important about today?" he asked, matter of factly.
I almost stopped dead, I was so stunned by the question. Taking another drag, allowing the acrid smoke to fill my lungs, "I can't believe you forgot today is career day! We've only been talking about it since the beginining of the fucking school year!" Jesus Christ! Did that boy ever listen to a word I said?
"Ohh," he said, some light managing to penetrate that thick skull, "And you wanna be... a hooker?" If I hadn't known better, I would have thought he was making fun of me.

He could be so dense sometimes. It felt like I was explaining things to a child! I began to wonder if he had done something to reality with that damn rock! Probably he had done something and messed up his mind! That would be so like him! As nice as he could be, sometimes he was so dense!
"Jon, I don't know what the hell you did to yourself with that rock, and maybe after school we can try to figure it out, but I don't have time for this. The age of concent was lowered to sixteen like five years ago."
He just shook his head slowly.
"Look I'm sorry I don't have the time right now, but I promise after school we'll get to the bottom of this." Giving him a freindly kiss on the cheek, I made my way to the building, eager to chase my dream...
