Karyn walked over to another house and quietly knocked on the door. It opened to reveal ... Sarah McMillan!
Sarah smiled. "Hi, Karyn."
"Hi," Karyn said. They both looked around to make sure no one was watching them, and then Karyn went inside.
The first thing that happened after the door was shut was Sarah pulling Karyn close to her and kissing her.
After their embrace, Karyn said "We have to say something about our relationship. I can't take any more of this pretending at school and at home. Can you?"
"No. I can't. I really don't like acting like a bitch and making fun of you, but it's what the other cheerleaders expect."
