“Goddess, that was embarrassing,” I exclaimed as we walked out of the classroom. Julianna walked beside me on my left and held my hand while Ramona clung on to my other arm. Tyronna followed slightly behind.
“Well, you kinda did bring it on yourself, Zoanna,” Ramona rebutted, giggling as we walked through the hall.
“Yeah, I know,” I replied, sighing. “I just didn’t realise how many times you bois checked your makeup. Gurls don’t worry about that kind of stuff.”
“We know!” Tyronna interjected. “Gurls are stupid when it comes to boi stuff. Can we change the subject, please? I want to talk more about my date with Crys, since we got interrupted thanks to you.”
“Please,” I replied. “I don’t want to hear about how you two are in bed. Shi sits next to me in math. I don’t want that mental image going through my mind when I get back.”
“Whatever,” Tyronna replied as hei launched into another conversation with Ramona.
“So,” I began, turning to my boifriend, “What’s our next class?”
Julianna smiled. “Advanced makeup.”
I groaned. “Seriously?” I asked. “You bois have an entire class dedicated to makeup?”
Julianna nodded and squeezed my hand. “Yep, how do you think we always look so good? We didn’t just wake up looking like this, you know?” Hei gestured to hys outfit. “A boi has got to start somewhere.”
“I suppose so,” I replied, already dreading the class. Who knows what they had in store for me.
