A hand snatched the stone from his open hand. "A wish that can change the world, huh?" Jon knew that voice. He looked up and saw his 14-year old Goth sister Zoe.
She overheard Jon from inside the house, talking about making wishes to change the world. When she saw that Jon was holding a magic stone (being into the occult, Zoe knew about these things), she realized that it really was possible to do it. And she knew exactly what kind of wish to make, so she took it from him.
