Jon anxiously waited as he waited for Karyn to answer her phone. He paced his room as it rang. Finally, after a few rings, he heard it being answered, followed by Karyn's voice. "Hello?"
"Finally. I've been trying to call you all afternoon." Jon said.
"My phone was charging in my room while I was doing my homework downstairs." Karyn said. "Why, what's up?"
"The stone is gone." Jon said.
"What do you mean it's gone?" Karyn asked.
"I had it on the way home from school, but when I got home, it was gone. I think it fell out of my pocket."
"Well you need to retrace your path." Karyn said, sounding a bit panicked.
"Don't you think I thought of that?" Jon asked. "I was out looking all afternoon. That's why I was calling."
"I'll come over now to help you." Karyn offered.
"No, it's too late now. I searched the entire path I took home, and it was gone. Someone must have picked it up."
"Well what are we going to do? We need to get it back."
"I know, I know." Jon said. "The situation isn't as bad as it could be. I made a wish earlier that may actually help us out here. Why don't you come over, and I'll fill you in and we can try and figure something out."
"Alright." Karyn said. "See you in a bit."
Meanwhile Tim was at home, ever since discovering this stone he'd been messing around with people, he had gone to the mall, and made wishes to causes a few women to have wardrobe malfunctions of all kinds. Now back at home he used the stone to get a nicer computer and TV in his room, and to increase his porn collection, as if he would need it.
He went to bed that night, excited to make some Wishes at School tomorrow
Jon and Karyn on the other hand just hoped that either whoever found it wouldn't realize it was, or would and make small wishes, that Jon could track back to whoever made them.
