Tim was no longer standing in a hallway. He was at home. Suddenly he sneezed. He was feeling terrible and seemed to have stayed home because he was sick.
But he was obviously recovering from his cold. He'd probably be well enough tomorrow to return to school. Then he spotted the sticker on his bookbag--it was still the mascot of Lake View. Did this magic stone have to be told everything? "I wish that I go to Lake Point High," and it changed back to what he remembered.
If the stone was that much of a stickler for exact words, he wondered if the stone changed things so that the school was always girls except for him, or if the stone changed things so that everyone changed into a girl today and he wasn't affected because he wasn't at school. That could leave it half full of lesbians. Still, it wasn't as if that mattered; he could always change that later....
