"Excuse me, miss." A veritable blonde goddess in a bright red monokini and black sarong blocked Jon's path. "I'm afraid your attire does not match tonight's dress-code. In order to watch the game, you must be in beach wear."
"I'm not a student here," Jon informed her, guessing her to be faculty. "I'm from Lake Point."
The woman smiled good-naturedly. "Yes, I am aware. Still, visitors are not exempt from honoring the dress-code. I must ask you to come with me."
"Are you kicking us out?" Karyn asked.
"Oh, certainly not. We'll provide both of you with fitting swimwear. I'm sure you two will look ravishing in bikinis. And don't worry about missing any of the game. Our changing rooms are equipped with televisions."
Jon rolled his eyes. This whole scenario was only getting more and more ridiculous. "Um, could this wait a bit? I just need to, um, get my stuff. I left it over there." He pointed in the general direction of the opposite bleachers.
"Your things will be fine," the woman assured them. "There have never been any thieves on our campus."
Except one, Jon thought. "Still, I'd feel so nervous leaving my things there. It's very personal."
"I don't know," said the woman, beginning to show some uncertainty. "The rules "
"Please?" Jon set his dignity aside and tried to look as cutely innocent as possible. "It won't take very long."
