The stone glowed, granting Zoe's wish. But, unknown to her, the outcome of her wish was twisted, so that it wouldn't be what she intended.
"Give me that stone, you fucking bitch!" Jon yelled, before tackling Zoe to the ground and prying the stone from her hands.
She turned and looked up at him with wide eyes. And then her shock turned into satisfaction. Just like she wanted, Jon had turned into a Goth. Fishnet shirt, black leather pants, black boots, a spiked collar around his neck, piercings, and some black make-up on his very pale skin.
"What the fuck are you smiling at?" he spat at her.
Zoe was confused. Why was he treating her like this? They were both Goths now, right? Shouldn't they be getting along with each other?
But then Zoe looked down at herself and nearly screamed. She was no longer Goth, not even in the slightest. In fact, she looked as "normal" as half the girls at school.
Her wish had turned Jon into a Goth. But at the same time, it had changed Zoe, by making her more like Jon, lifestyle-wise. It was almost as if they had swapped personalities or roles or something.
She needed that stone back. There was no way in hell she was going to stay like this. What would her friends think?
