"I wish you didn't think you were Sarah," the other Sarah said.
And with that, every memory that would make her think she was Sarah was erased.
She looked around the room. She recognized it as a bedroom, but she didn't know who it belonged to. In a mirror across the room, she saw her reflection. She knew what Goths looked like, so given her appearance, she assumed she was one. But she didn't recognize herself.
"Who am I?" she asked, touching her face. That's when she noticed the bandage on her right hand. Did she get hurt? She couldn't remember. It wasn't that her memory was fuzzy, though. It was as if there were no memories at all.
"Get out of my house!" yelled the girl that was in the room with her. She didn't know who she was. But she seemed very angry. She grabbed her arm and pushed her out of the room. "Get out before I call the cops!"
She ran as quickly as she could, down the stairs, and out the door.
For the next half hour, she wandered through the neighborhood, trying to remember who she was or where she was, but she came up with nothing.
