"Who are you? And what are you doing in Sarah's bedroom?" a voice suddenly said.
Sarah turned around and saw her mom.
"Mom. It's me. I'm Sarah," said the girl who looked like Athena, but was actually Sarah.
"I don't know what game you're playing. But I'm not playing it. I'm calling the cops," her mom said, moving down the hall away from the bedroom.
Sarah dashed out into the hall, miraculously without tripping on her dress, and grabbed her mom's arm. "No."
Her mom turned and glared at her. "Let go of me, you freak."
Sarah let go. She was stunned by her mother's words. But her mother didn't know the truth. This body wasn't hers, it belonged to that Athena girl. Her body was out roaming around town, being controlled by someone else.
Her mom continued on her way, quickening her pace. But before she got to the stairs, Sarah grabbed her. "I can't let you do that." She pulled her back towards her bedroom, but her mom struggled greatly.
"Help! Help, there's someone in my house!" her mom yelled at the top of her lungs.
"Shut up, Mom!" Sarah yelled. She put her hand over her mom's mouth to stop her from screaming, but her mom took the opportunity to bite her hand.
Sarah pushed her mother to the ground and yelled out in pain. Then, out of a fit of anger, she punched her mom in the face. She was out cold.
Holding her bleeding hand, she looked down at her unconscious mother. "Oh, Mom. Look what you made me do." She bent down and touched her mom's face, lovingly. She was still mad that her mom bit her, but she couldn't blame her. She thought that Sarah was some intruder. In her place, she'd probably do the same thing.
She stood up and saw herself in the mirror at the end of the hall. Pale face, long black hair, a full-length black lace dress with a black underbust corset, black boots, and fishnet gloves. Blood dripped from her right hand, staining the fishnet glove that she wore on it. Besides the bleeding hand, it was the same way Athena looked before she bumped into Sarah.
She was a freak. And the sooner the got her life back, the better.
