Jon placed an old Stargate disc into the tray, closed it, and donned the headset. Jon forgot however that his DVD player had a limitted memory, and would start the DVD right where he left off last time he was using it. With a start, Jon found himself in the Great Pyramid of Abydos, holding a P-90 pointed at the door. He glanced across the hallway in front of the Stargate, and saw Skara and Teal'c set up facing the same door. Jon realized he must be O'Neill, and he also realized that a whole lot of Jaffa were about to enter the hall.
Teal'c lifted his staff weapon, shouted a warning and began firing at the entrance. Jaffa were storming the pyramid. Jon sighted on the closest and pulled the trigger. The P-90 barked and put 6 rounds into the alien solder. However, the gun also leaped from Jon's hands. He hadn't been expecting so much recoil. He retrieved the gun just in time to see Skara get hit by a staff blast. Jon knew that the gateroom was about to be overrun, and ordered the Abydonian warriors and Teal'c to fall back to the hidden chamber beneath the Pyramid.
Jon was beginning to think he should've started with an earlier season; he decided that he should jump out and swap the disc. Figuring he'd have a little more fun before leaving, he stepped out of his cover, firing the P-90 as he went. He took out at least three Jaffa, but his gun clicked on empty. Jon realized he might be in trouble, and reached up to remove the headset.
Unfortunately, Jon's hand only felt the fabric of O'Neill's hat. Jon then realized that he hadn't made a way out in the wish. Half a dozen more Jaffa streamed into the room, and as they fired at him Jon could only think about how he never did get to walk through the gate...
