Jon was snapped out of it when something slammed into him and he fell to the floor. A whistle blew when Jon was on his back, but looking up he saw only a dark ceiling that seemed like hundreds of feet above him. "Where am I?" Jon wondered.

Then a tall black man in an orange basketball uniform loomed over him and reached down a hand to help him up. "Oh, hey, thanks," Jon said and the other man looked at him kind of funny. "Uh, yeah," said the other man. "Way to take that charge, Mac."

Jon looked around and saw that he was in the middle of a basketball game. Looking around the huge arena he spotted a message on one of the scoreboards that read 'Welcome to Madison Square Garden'.

"I'm in Madison Square Garden?!" Jon yelled as he looked down at himself and saw a huge body in an orange Syracuse jersey that matched that of the man who helped him up.

"What are you talking about, man?" asked Jon's teammate. "We've been playing here all week."

Wow, Jon thought, I'm a college basketball player! This is amazing!

The game got back underway and Jon got right into the game. He was running back and forth, hitting shots and playing defense. He was amazed that he knew exactly what to do and where to be on each play.

As the game neared the end, Jon was exhausted and drenched in sweat, but his team was down by one point with three seconds to go. The point guard called the play and Jon got into position. He set the screen just like he was supposed to, but the shooter on his team got double-teamed. Jon ws left wide open and suddenly the ball was coming his way.

Without even thinking about it, Jon hoisted up a shot from half court. It seemed to hang in the air for an eternity, but fell into the back of the net so perfectly Jon swore he could hear the swoosh over the roar of the crowd.

The buzzer sounded and the fans erupted as Jon screamed and ran across the court. "I can't believe it, I hit the game-winning shot!" he yelled as he jumped into his teammate's arms.
