Jon tries to sort things out

It was with a heavy heart and a weary tread that Jon came back up the stairs to his room after the meal. He had been listening to Karyn over the meal and his mother had wondered what was wrong with him. He could hardly tell her that Karyn was not best pleased with him nor why. After all he didn't want to tell his mother he expected to have his skin tanned and nailed to the side of the house. Normally this wouldn't have been possible but you never knew with the stone around.
He went into his room, took Karyn out of where he had hidden her and lay her face down on the bed so he didn't have to look at her. He hoped that his plan would work. First he felt through her clothing to find the air valve and put his lips to it and slowly started to re-inflate Karyn. As she filled out so did his trousers. Not too surprisingly he was becoming aroused. After all he could taste the odour of Karyn on his lips and her scent in his nose. " No, I had better not," he thought.
"Too damn right," said the voice in his head, although it did sound a little less annoyed than it had been over tea.
Finally she was re-inflated and Jon was able to move away from her before he became too excited. She was still his best friend after all.
"Right Karyn this is what I am going to try. I'm going to send you back to your house and there you will change back into a human again". He didn't say I hope, nor did he think it as she would still have been able to hear him. He did keep his fingers crossed behind his back.
Taking hold of the stone he said, "I wish that Karyn was human again and back home."
There was no sense in taking chances. There was a slight pop as the air rushed into the space where Karyn had been. He sighed with relief.
A few moments later he heard Karyn in his head say " Jon, you forgot to put my shoes back on."
