Jon's mother

About half an hour later Jon's mother came in.
"Hi Karyn, how is it going?" she asked.
"Very well" Karyn replied.
"As a matter of fact I came to look for Jon but he isn't here"
"Don't worry" Karyn replied, "he is helping me in ways that you just could not imagine"
"I don't know how you managed to keep a straight face there" she heard Jon's voice in her head.
"Do you like this dummy that I am using?" Karen asked Jon's mother.
"Yes" she replied, " I can see that it would be useful to have one."
"Oh I know" answered Karyn. " It is just so easy to adjust. If you ever need to borrow it then ask Jon. He knows where to find it"
"Thanks Karyn" said Jon's mother, "I might just take you up on that"
With that, she went out of the room.
Karyn began to hum a tune as she continued with her work. Well it was better that listening to Jon's complaints. Anyway, if it got any worse she had plenty of pins left.
