Jon took a quick glance around his room. Everything was exactly the same, except there was a pink bridesmaid's dress hanging on his door. Jon held the stone and said, "I wish I knew why that dress is in my room."

New memories came flooding to him. His cousin Shelley was getting married, and Zoe was supposed to be a bridesmaid. Jon had mocked her relentlessly, Zoe was a goth, had worn nothing but black for at least the past few years. The idea of her in a super girly pink dress was hilarious to him. Jon's mom finally got mad and told Jon, "If you don't stop making fun of your sister, it'll be YOU in that dress!" Jon knew she was bluffing, but promised he'd stop. Until he saw her trying on the dress, he couldn't help himself and just started laughing. Unfortunately, his mom overheard.

The next day, Jon's mom came home carrying some garment bags. "Well, Jon," she said. "You didn't believe me, but you wouldn't stop making fun of your sister, so I had the dress altered to fit you. You will be taking over bridesmaid duties. You will come with us to the bachelorette party, and also to the beauty parlor to get your hair and makeup done before the wedding. At the wedding and reception, you will act lady-like, and if any boys ask you to dance, you will accept. Zoe, I've had Jon's suit altered to fit you, you can be an usher." Zoe was fine with this arrangement, at least the suit was black, and of course, Jon would be humiliated. Jon tried to apologize and argue, but Jon's mom said if he didn't do it, he would have to wear the dress to school every day for the rest of the year. The wedding was only a week away, this would all be over soon, maybe he could pass it off as a joke somehow.

And now here he sat in his room, wondering what to do, when he heard his mother call him from downstairs. "Jon! Hurry up and try on the dress, see how it fits!" He then heard Zoe say, "Yeah, 'sis', come on, let's see how pretty you look! My new suit fits great!" Jon groaned, but took off his t-shirt and jeans, and after some struggle with the foreign garment, put the dress on. Well, his mother was right, it was tailored to fit his body. He opened the door and headed down the stairs.
