Later that evening as Biff got ready for bed, dressing in just an large T-shirt and boxers, he thought back to earlier. He had gone out to grab something to eat and had bumped in to Jordan, Jack and Heather who all had the same idea so they decided to go together.
While they ate they discussed the party that they would be attending tomorrow night. Biff was interested on hearing what roles that they would be playing.
Jordan was very chuffed with her role. She was going to be playing a very successful businessman while Jack would be playing her beautiful trophy wife.
Heather meanwhile was to play the chief detective who would be the one trying to solve the murder. None of them knew who the victim was going to be. But then of course they weren't supposed to tell anyone if they did.
"Don't you guys think this is all a bit strange?" Biff asked the others. "I mean a murder mystery party? What's that all about?"
"Oh come on Biff." Jordan said sitting next him. She gently patted his arm. "It'll be fun. I've never done one of these before."
"And what about your roles?" Biff asked.
"What about them?" Jack replied.
"Isn't it odd that Jordan will be playing a businessman while Jack is her wife?" Biff pointed out. "Shouldn't it be the other way around?"
Heather nodded agreeing with Biff's confusion.
Jordan and Jack looked at each other and then shrugged their shoulders. "I don't see anything wrong with it." Jordan said while Jack nodded.
Biff and Heather just shared a look.
