On the way back, Heather's confusion continued. She was sure that Jack was the one hitting on her, not the other way around. She looked over at him now, seeing that he had ceased, finally. But was that because she called him out on it? Or some other reason? It was strange, but she had a feeling that it was the latter.
"Stop it," Jack complained.
"Huh?" Heather asked.
"You're doing it again. Stop looking at me. I'm not a piece of meat, you know." Jack groaned in annoyance, then walked ahead a little, clearly wanting to get away from her.
Now he was the one trying to get away from her? What was going on around here?
Some distance ahead, Biff was having his own problems with Jordan. She kept on talking about this sports team and that sports team, player stats, odds of winning, etc., and Biff oddly found himself uninterested.
