"Ok!" Alexa said. "Now for the patrols, we are going to pair you up with each other." Alex took out a sheet of paper and then started reading out names.
Biff groaned when he heard that he would be paired up with Jordan, the girl he had met last night. All though he hadn't groaned as much as Heather who found out that she was going to partnered with Jack, the boy who had been pestering her all night.
Heather raised her hand.
"What is it...Heather?" Alexa asked after looking down at the list of names.
"Can I switch partners?" Heather asked not wanting to have to spend the day with Jack.
Alexa shook her head. "I'm sorry, but all partners are final. Now if there are no more questions then can you all come up and receive your patrol routes."
Biff and Jordan were closest to Alexa so they grabbed their sheets first and after studying the route they set off in their given direction.
As they walked they tried to make small talk but neither could seem to get a conversation going until.
"So who do you think is going to win tomorrow?" Jordan asked Biff.
Biff taken a bit by surprise paused. "I'm sorry, what?" He asked slightly confused.
"The game tomorrow." Jordan explained. "You know the big rivalry match?"
"Oh, that." Biff said. "I'm not sure. I think it'll be a close one. I hope we win." Biff said trailing off. Stopping in his tracks he turned to Jordan.
"I thought that you weren't in to sports."
