Jon was fighting to keep his very existence. As he thought, he was a tad stronger than Jane. However, Jane was also correct in that she was a bit faster than Jon, and able to anticipate his moves. There was also the factor of rage. As Jane said, she had been trapped in Jon's body their whole lives, and all the pent up frustration was lending her strength that she normally wouldn't have. Jon was trying to use his fear of losing his autonomy to fuel his attacks, but her rage was the stronger emotion.
As they wrestled each other on the floor, Jane slowly started to gain the upper hand in the fight. Then, with a suddenness that took Jon (and even Jane, if truth be told) by surprise, Jane managed to pin him to the floor. She sat on his chest, her knees pinning his arms down, effectively immobilizing him. Her eyes narrowed as she looked down at her helpless victim.
"Beat you within an inch of your life?" she practically growled at him. "Here you go then!"
She started punching his face, alternating with each fist with a rhythm that brought pain to Jon at every beat. The first punch made him see stars, then each successive punch added to the misery of his situation. He tried to buck her off him, but her position was too secure. He was starting to lose consciousness, and in desperation he started flailing around with his hands, trying to find some purchase on the floor to help leverage her off him. Then his right hand suddenly closed on a stone...
The wishing stone! In the heat of the fight, Jon had forgotten about it! He wrapped his fingers around it, and managed to shout out after her latest punch, "I wish that Jane was a part of me again!"
Jane paused, her eyes going wide in fear. She stammered, "Wha...no!!!"
Then...
