John instantly felt a knot in his stomach as he made the stupid wish. The rock in his hand glowed like it was granting the wish, but it didn't stop glowing after a moment. It got brighter and brighter and then started to get hot. He dropped it on the floor and the moment it made contact it would shatter before him.
The flash it gave off was almost blinding, but he was able to see what looked like a tiny little galaxy exploding. 100s or 1000s of tiny little glowing fragments looking about the size of grains of sand shooting off at blurring speeds in all directions so fast that when John saw them coming at him he couldn't move in time.
He thought he was about to get impaled in a moment but the next moment he just found himself grabbing at his face and chest thinking he was hurt but he wasn't. The fragments seemed to phase right through him and the walls and all of his object. The fragments would fly out of his house and scatter around the city. All of them would find their ways inside of random pieces of food in town.
Jon stood up sweating a bit looking himself over and looking around feeling like he was going to throw up as he just threw away an impossible opportunity destroying the stone with a stupid careless wish. He'd hate himself forever for this. He hadn't even gotten a chance to make any good wishes himself.
