So yeah, back to basics and height and weight are as basic as it gets. With 5''5' she would pretty much be eye to eye with me, and just like me with 154 pounds she could stand to lose a bit of weight.
I wasn't insecure enough that I need to tower over my girlfriend but being at least a bit taller would feel nice, so I dropped her height down to 5''4'. Just enough to satisfy my male pride.... as long as she didn't wear heels. But anything less didn't mesh well with the idea of a butt-kicking actiongirl.
According to the menu Victorias body-type was 'Apple/Round', at the moment which was probably the least desirable option.
'Hourglass' was the obvious choice for a supposed super-heroine, especially where my nether regions were concerned. But hormones aside an 'Inverted Triangle'-shape had a lot going for it. Sure, Victoria didn't look quite as alluring with small hips and broad shoulders, but she seemed tougher ....somehow more real.
Besides I was an avid follower of an internet-critic who liked to mock the overabundance of cheese-cake in comic-books, and this was a prime opportunity to live what I preached in the debates of his comment-section.
Sending a mental salute to my hero with the snazzy hat, I chose the 'Inverted triangle'. Which was also typical for masked vigilantes, come to think of it. It was the standard shape for male capes, but hey, I'll take what I can get.
My own chuckle was echoed by a short burst of from the entity. So it shared my sense of humor? Go figure.
Speaking of ridiculously fit men: It was high time Victoria shed some unnecessary pounds and got some serious muscle-tone. The modest increase in 'Attractive' for her nicer proportions hadn't put a huge dent into the remaining points, so I could probably splurge a bit when adjusting the muscle tone.
At least that was what I thought. When I started adjusting the body fat-to-muscle-ratio in favor of her fitness a series of 'Eternal Body: +1 Convenience' started popping up over Victorias head before slowly fading away while the available points reached negative levels and turned red. Even the much smaller stack of 'Eternal Body: -1 Attractive' and 'Eternal Body: +1 Attractive' that followed pretty much canceled out.

Well damn! Damndamndamndamndamn! Cursed useless gibberish-descriptions! That right here was what the last paragraph about a greater price to be paid later meant. Not some self-confidence issues! "Eternal Body" wouldn't keep Victoria in good shape it would keep her in the shape she was in when I hit "Apply changes"! Well unless she did the dieting equivalent of Binge-eating for weeks on end.... which didn't sound exactly healthy. So now the game was treating these things like they depended on the genetic lottery too instead of Victorias determination to change.
Any hope that I might correct my mistake by appealing to my extra-dimensional benefactor was crushed by a burst of and a memory of me reading the paragraph, talking about the price, and hitting 'Accept' when asked if I was sure about locking my choice in.

I had gotten in the habit of unlocking the next choice whenever I decided to keep a perk, precisely to keep myself from second-guessing myself and deselecting it again. Which bit my in the arse right now, because having the option of just being less ambitious with my choice of perks would be a really convenient way to free up points right now. So if I wanted to have any hope of Victoria living up to her inspiration, I'd have to hit the "Flaws" section again.

As I feared, the whole loyalty tree turned out to be a lucky fluke, pretty much anything else that was worth a lot of points would also make a colossal jerk for inflicting it on someone else. Consequently I mostly stuck to choosing minor quirks or annoyances like and made sure I'd to leave my option to reconsider open this time.

"Second Eyes" I always had a thing for girls with glasses and it wasn't exactly a horrible fate. Even then I didn't take it any farther than Victoria needing them to read, because ruining her eyes, because I hadn't bothered to read the fine print, left a bad aftertaste as it was.

"Left-handed" was another easy pick.

"Window to Inner Sea" didn't yield a lot of points but I might have taken that one even if I wasn't desperate for points. Victorias' eyes would waver between green and blue depending on her mood. Which would probably ruin her poker face, but did solve the question whether to keep the green eyes or go with the blue to stay faithful to the cartoon. Kind of a silly problem, but like I already said, I am a bit of a perfectionist in that regard.

I seriously considered skipping the 'Ecchi'-category altogether, but in the end my libido won out. That I didn't want to view Victoria solely as a sex-object didn't mean I am a prude after all.
By the time I found the option to adjust Victorias libido I was pretty flushed with excitement, from reading and usually discarding all the racy options that came before it. Contrary to all the other options it was a drop-down menu which was all kinds of wrong from a design-perspective I suppose it is pretty telling that I could spare a thought for proper game-design at a moment like this, but in the end all those menus were only a kind of metaphor anyway so why dwell on it. A quick check revealed the choices to be: "Frigid", "Reluctant", "Not averse", "Healthy", "Willing", "Hungry", "Voracious", "Famished" and "Insatiable" with "Not averse" being the current selection.
The description mentioned the settings only impacted the bodies drives not the mentality, so it kind of made sense to put libido under inconveniences. The nether regions weren't exactly reliable advisors, when it came to life-choices after all.
I am pretty proud that I rule my desires and not the other way round, but if given the choice I still wanted a partner who'd see the merit in spending the occasional morning in bed, so in the end I decided on "Willing", which according to the menu was still a pretty minor inconvenience.
In the end I choose only two other traits from that particular category:
"Vocal". Well the mental image of a pretty girl moaning in ecstasy while we eherm 'enjoyed our youth together' was really REALLY nice, and it was another little inconvenience that sounded pretty manageable.
"Passionate" mentioned she would find it hard to just relax, lie back and enjoy the show when she was with a man. Since I was usually a bit too timid, it might actually be nice if Victoria was inclined to take the lead.
