"It's a long story, but I don't have time to tell it. Right now, I need to get you out of here," Karyn said, untying the bindings holding Jon to the chair. She then grabbed Jon's hand and pulled him out of the room. "Okay, I've got him."
Jon wondered who she was talking to, but was surprised when he saw it was ... Sarah McMillan?!
"Good, now we can get the hell out of here," Sarah said.
"No, not yet," came another voice. Jon turned and looked down towards the other end of the hallway. Wait, was that ... Athena DeVries? His sister Zoe's best friend? "We didn't just come here looking for Jon. We also came for the wishing stone."
Jon became alarmed. Karyn told Athena about the stone? And what about Sarah? Did she tell her about the stone too? What exactly was going on here? How did Karyn even get Athena and Sarah to help her?
