Sharon wondered how her mommy was getting on.

"And this is the kitchen." Sally said as she showed her clients the room. Sally loved this room. It was spacious and very modern. It was the kind of kitchen that she would have loved to have in her house if she could afford it.

"It's...Very nice." The woman said distracted. She nudged her husband sending a glance towards Sally.

Sally had spotted this and signed. The couple had been acting strange all morning. They had gasped when they had entered her office and seen Sally. For some reason they seemed insistent on seeing her daughter Sharon.

"Why do you want to see my daughter?" Sally had asked confused.

"Because she's the one who should be dealing with this stuff not some five year old girl." The man had replied. Finding it weird that Sally had referred to Sharon as her daughter.

Sally grew cross. "Look." She said. "I can assure you that I know what I'm doing. This is my job after all." She looked at them crossly.

"Even if my daughter knew what to do which she doesn't. I'm afraid she can't be here right now?"

"And why is that?" The man had asked concerned.

"Because she is at school." Sally said firmly. "Now do you want to see the house or not?"

It had taken a great deal of convincing and eventually, after a meeting with her boss who assured the young couple that Sally was where she was supposed to be, they had agreed to see the house.

And that's how Sally had gotten to where she was right now.

She read out the specs of the kitchen to the couple.

"Impressive." The man said.

"How do you know all of this?" The woman asked. "Did you learn this in school?" She laughed with her husband.

Sally grew angry. "No!" She huffed. "This is my job. I'm supposed to know this." She had no idea why they weren't taking her seriously.

She supposed that because they were from out of town that this was how they acted wherever they were from.

Sally frowned. She wasn't sure if she wanted to raise her daughter knowing that these two were in the neighbourhood.
