Zoe sighed happily as she relaxed in the leather office chair and placed her hands behind her head. She could get used to this.
With all the commotion involving the former Robert Hammond, Zoe didn't have a chance to take in the place that was now her new home. So once she had seen Robert out she decided to take a tour of the house.
The house was huge! It was a mansion. Zoe had explored every room; the kitchen, the dinning room, the upstairs. They even had a pool outside! After the tour Zoe headed back to the study which was the room she was currently in.
It was well furnished with wooden floors and wooden wall panels. There were a lot of bookcases sitting along the walls. There was a big wooden desk in the middle of the room. On the desk was an impressive computer monitor along with a mouse and keyboard.
Zoe sat at the desk with her back to the big window. On the desk she saw a picture of her wife and boy, was she hot. Amanda reminded of Zoe of those trophy wives that she had seen on TV. She knew she was lucky to have her.
As if on cue the door opened to reveal Amanda. She was holding two glasses and a bottle of champagne. She approached Zoe and then perched herself on the edge of the desk and started to pour.
"What's with the champagne?" Zoe asked.
"Well," Amanda said. "I wanted to thank you for what you did earlier." She handed Zoe a glass.
"We don't need champagne for that" Zoe pointed out.
"True" Amanda replied giggling a bit as she put the bottle down. She seemed very happy. "But we do for this." She took a deep breath and smiled at Zoe. "Honey. I'm pregnant!"
Zoe was shocked but she was also excited. "What!?" She said standing up. "When did you find out?" She asked.
"Yesterday." Amanda admitted. "I was going to tell you then but you were busy all day and then you had that golf game this morning. And then there was that teenager..." She was interrupted by Zoe embracing her and giving her a kiss.
"Honey!" Zoe said releasing the kiss. "Congratulations!" They chinked their glasses and then drank. Zoe couldn't be happier.
